About Doug
In 1970 my parents opened a retail store in Lewistown, MT. Growing up I worked in the store and went to trade shows. In 1988, when I was a junior in high school, I helped my parents open a second location in Great Falls, MT.
Late in 1990 I talked my parents into buying screen printing equipment and Big Sky Imprints was born. In 1992 I
developed my own resort line and started repping it across the mountain states.
In February of 2001 I met Dawn, a rep for PSI, at the Denver Gift show and we married later that year. (Who says you can’t mix business with pleasure!)
In 2002 we started a mug decorating company called Mug Shots that would later become better known as Imagefitters.
January of 2005 Dawn & I officially took over Big Sky Imprints. As if that wasn’t enough we decided to purchase a local sign company, truly making us the most convenient one stop shop for all of one’s marketing needs. With so many divisions, we re-named the company Imagefitters.
We sold 2 division of our company to our employees in 2008, We took the mug division and moved to Austin, TX to enjoy the warmer climate as I transitioned back into being a full time rep.
We are currently repping CO, TX, NM and some key accounts nationally.
About Dawn
I started my career right out of college in 1990 with a job as a layout artist for Real American Actionwear, one of the largest destination screen printing companies at the time.
A year later I was creating T-shirt art for several companies from the dry heat of Tempe, AZ. I enjoyed painting fine art and had a few gallery showings in Scottsdale.
In 1993 I started Creative Spirit, a screen printing company which designed stock and custom art for the national tourist industry. Three years later, sold the company and worked with other destination screen printers to grow their companies before becoming a sales rep for Printed Sportswear in Colorado where I grew up.
I met Doug at the Denver Gift Show, and we were married not long after. I moved to Stevensville, MT to be with my new family, Doug and his 3 kids, Gavin, Sydney and Zane. I supported Doug in his repping business, created art for Big Sky Imprints, our family business, and started Mug Shots.
In 2005 we took over BSI, bought Sign Pro and added Mug Shots to the mix, all under one roof in Great Falls, MT. Three years later we sold two divisions of our company to our employees and headed for warmer winters in Austin, TX. I continued to run the mug division, keeping the name imagefitters and eventually merged with our supplier so I could focus on being a rep full time.
